My training in these modalities has helped me understand the body and how it is affected by emotions and movement and combining these with yoga teaching gives me a healthy balance in my life. I’m passionate about Yoga, Aromatherapy and Reflexology and feel very blessed to share my knowledge. I love teaching Yoga & learning from the lovely participants & treasure the friendships & community that the yoga classes have brought.

BWY Yorkshire Region
Welcome to the BWY Yorkshire Region website which provides information on yoga teachers, classes, events and training in the region. Please take a few minutes to have a look around and if you're a BWY teacher don't forget to add your class details. The website will be regularly updated so on your next visit there will be something new to see. I believe one of the BWY strengths lies in its diversity of teaching styles. When we attend a class given by a BWY teacher we know we are in the safe hands of someone who has undergone training second to none and who can offer an individual and unique style.

Om Yoga Works
Our dedicated yoga studio is in an old Yorkshire mill, a place where thread was weaved into beautiful cloth & we intend to continue to weave the threads of yogic philosophy to awaken our individual beauty & potential. A yogic community to support, encourage & prosper.
Anji (Vigyana) & Bridget’s (Bhavani) lives became intertwined with yogic thread & the common desire to promote & share Satyananda yoga for the benefit of all. We have travelled & furthered our education in many fields but yoga was the one that changed our lives on many levels.
In the beginning our bodies were stiff & unyielding & we continue to work with our bodies to heal injuries & correct bad postural habits. Our minds are like monkeys, continually jumping from tree to tree, it takes time & persistence to calm the inner mind & that’s when the real journey begins. As we learn & grow we are passing on the Satyananda techniques & offering guidance through our own experiences.
We welcome everybody who would like to explore the effectiveness of these tools for transformation
