Sue, I see three ships . . .
January start of crisp and cold, and Richard is with us, and we go and brave the cold in Otley. February:Did not take any pictures?? March:Another month and no pictures??? April The weather was good, and we take Sue's friend Anji and her dog for a ride on NB Dawn. Later in the month we meet up as a family at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, this is where the wider family meet up at the park with Ivis, Henry and Richard, see the outing here . . . May means Skipton festival, lots of boats, stalls, thrills for children and plenty to eat. July we took the boat out for a trip with some friends on board, from Gargrave to Kildwick, we even managed to organise the transport OK nad we ended the day with going to Bizzy Lizzy's in Skipton, what can beat that? We did a trip south by boat (rather than car), this time . .see all the details here. In the Autumn we did a round trip to the South West via Birmingham going and Nottingham coming back, see the details here . . September: When we had come back we were invited to spend a day at Percevall Hall Gardens, up in North Yorkshire, we had chosen a good day and the sun shone for us. I also spent some time making a record of the Quaker Meeting House garden, to see how it had changed over the last 2 years. November is the start of the off season, CaRT uses this period to do alot of its maintenance, and localy they are draining the canal, which leaves the boat "TheWayfarer" with a problem, it doese not have a working engine, so see what happens here . . .
