Potatoe Wharf

Leeds Potato Wharf / New Dock location of the Royal Armouries Museum

The begining of January had us out, strolling around Howarth, and all of us having the compulsory cup oftea. You can see all about it here . . .

Richard was up for the new year and had brought his American model trains with him, you can see them here . . .

February had us in Skipton and walking along the canal below the castle, and then on to the wood beyond, see it here . . .

In March Richard, John and me went to Leeds and the Armeries and walked around the river and the canal, see what we saw here . . . The following day Richard drove us up into the Dales, did a circular tour popping into Patley Bridge

At the end of the month found us in Skipton

Then day or so later (March) I took a stroll round Leeds, while the next day Sue took me for a walk next to the canal out at Apperly Bridge, see us here . . .

July is USA month, we have McRae over from the other side of the pond, and Henry is giving him the UK tour, here are some pictures from the few days he had with us, McRae's main travel page, so we had time on the canal. We also took McRae on the steam railway fto Haworth, and had lunch and came back.

August Richard came up to spend a few days with us and we explored Rippon on one day, and then went to Knaresborough the next.
At the end of the month Sue took me to Ogden Water.

September found me and Sue going to Richards park in Saltaire and listening to music from the band stand. We then went for a walk around the park, and went into Saltaire church.

October some body reversed into Sue car, leaving a nasty hole. This was repaired under the insurance. Later in the month we went and stayed with Ivis and Henry and just the two of us explored along the canal. On the way back we stopped at the marina "" and also at Fradley, food and a quite walk, before continuing.
