Looking at Salts Mill from Roberts Park in Saltaire.
Saltaire is a world heritage site, with Salts Mill and the model workers village surrounding it. Like other model workers villages built around the country,
they provided accomodation that was far better than the workers would have had. But this came at a price,
there were no gardens to the houses, as it was thought that they would tire them selves out, and have no energy when they came in to work?
In February 2015, John (older son) deciedded it was spring like enough to get out of the house and go somewhere! It was Saltaire this time. Normally he persuades me to go some where by offering to buy me lunch, and Saltaire is always good for food.
So this is what happens.
