The Shroppy at Nantwich.

Of the towns that we entered, nantwich is one of the largest ones, but as the canal skirts the town centre, it feels very nice place to moor. When we were there it was very crowded, as lots of other people had the same idea. It took about 30 minutes to walk into the main centre from where we were moored.

This is where Richard left us one morning to catch the train home. We stayed for a little while for Josh to catch up with us and join.

The guide book talks about Nantwich as being a medieval market towns which still has some of the old half-timbered black and white buildings. Must admit we did enjoy wandering around some rather nice shops here but Sue was glad to get going again once Josh was with us.
In the pictures, look out for the ineresting craft, her husband had sold the narrowboat, so she was determined to get out in something, so this was it! As seen from the kitchen window, what more could you wish for while washing up???
