Church Minshull, just leaving.
Church Minshull to Anderton.
We have a good team, not the best (Josh and John) but the next best Josh and Sue!

We have one lock outside Middlewich, we are then slap bang in the middle of Middlewich before we know it. One more lock to tackle, and we are down, reluctantly we have to leave the gates closed as the postman wants to get across, even though we know there is another boat waiting to come up. We peep our bows out into the junction slowly, Josh indicates it is all clear, we swing sharply to the left, and we are back on the top part of the Trent and Mersey Canal, which we only came down a few weeks ago.
We press on through the Middlewich locks and then we are on the flat for Anderton. We move up through Anderton looking for a space, and just as we go pass the lift, we see a space, it is tight here, but we find a sign that says visiters moorings here, so we pull our ropes tight on the mooring loops, and go for a short walk, while Sue makes use of the showers.
Then it is time for tea, followed by books, jigsaws, puzzles etc, bedytime drinks and so to bed,
