This is probably out side the Gate Inn, Tamworth.

Hopwas Woods to Hopwas Woods via Glascote - Gain Richard and loose Josh.

The plan was to get to Tamworth for 10:00, well Kettlebrooke in fact. Once there we were to pick up my brother. Give Ivis a ride on the boat. Then let them take Josh away.

So all was goinging well, untill we arrived at Kettlebrooke, we were on time, BUT the folk in Kettlebrook were having a bit of a party, bit of ado you might say. So there was boats and things all over the place, and definitly no where to turn nearly 60 foot of boat.

So we had to keep going, and even that was not easy with the crush and all that. We had to go up a pair of locks, so we ended up meeting Richard, Ivis and Henry at a nearby pub.,

The pub did not look to exciting to eat at, so we left the car there and took a ride up the canal, paste the next pub, before we could find a turning point, and come back to the pub. (Probably the Gate in of the Tamworth rod.) By that time we were all ready for a bite to eat.

We then did a short trundle back to the first pub, where we took all Richards bagage out of the car. Then put all Josh's stuff in, including bike. Then evey one waved goodby to everyone!

Mooring up for the evening, just before Hopwas Woods. This time a different three did a walk around the village, after tea. While Sue and me read a book, Richard got his Kindle out.
