Going South for the Summer
Day 17, Tuesday 2nd August 2011 - Sue arrives in Beeston

Turn boat round plus one lock!! - Sue arrives.
Sue arrives in Beeston from Birmingham (been teaching on a yoga course) late morning.
So every body comes over to the boat, (Henry, Ivis, Josh, John and Sue.) after the boat has been checked out, I decide, since I have all this extra help around, I better move the boat. (I am on a limited time mooring.) So I reverse back to where the canal is wider in front of the boat yard, and do a very bad turning maneuver, (you always do your best maneuvers when nobody is watching.)
We then went under the bridge past the museum and pub and up the first lock and tied up just beyond the lock landing. The mooring is OK but there is a dirt road running next to the canal and every time a car goes by a shower of dust is thrown every where.
Notes on progress. None - we just turn the boat round and moor up ready to leave.
