Just me and Josh for first few days,
(to Wigan). Paused at Barnaldswick marina for fuel and a
pump-out, then managed to get to Foulridge Wharf for about 5:30
in the evening. It felt good to have managed a few miles on the
first day, we are off.
Had a walk around a checked the times for when the tunnel was OK
for us to enter (Going south) It is controlled by traffic lights
which change when it is your time to go, why cant they use the
same system further south?
We had loaded the boat the day before with supplies and
equipment etc., today was a pleasant, weather wise, cool and
dry.
