Alrewas at its best.
These pictures were taken mostly with a cheap digital
camera in 2003, except for the last two which have been scanned in.
We found Alrewas when we were living in Birmingham,
it was some where to meet Ivis and Henry and some where to take abreak from the nearby A38
It is one of those tranquil places where you can have more boats coming through on a summers day than cars. At the cannal junction, (See pictures else where,)
you have crowds of people coming to watch the boats make a mess of going through the locks and turning in or out of the junction. When we took ND Dawn through here in 2011 we had to Que for hours.
